New Sydney Office - Design & Fit-Out

Project: - Design & Remote PM; new office in Circular Quay, Sydney

Size: - Small office, 1200 sq ft

Design Brief: - Using concepts from Hong Kong office design – provide options for the following:

  • Customer waiting area capturing full harbour view – see photo
  • Boardroom for 12 people – harbour side
  • Meeting room for 4 people – inside wall
  • Break-out area incl kitchenette
  • Video conferencing facilities in both Board & Meeting rooms
  • Comms & storage room
  • Provide watching brief to ensure approved designed are installed to same standard as Hong Kong project

Our clients wanted their Sydney office to reflect their new approach to working in the same way as their Hong Kong Office. The experience our Design team have gained by working closely with this client for over a year, meant that these concepts were easily incorporated into every aspect of the design and space planning. 

Project Monitoring

Following on from the successful fit-out and relocation of the Hong Kong office, Visual i’s was asked to oversee the project management of this from the UK.  Our project manager worked very closely with the project team to make sure they benefited from his experience and guidance during the whole project.  The new office opened on 24th December 2007.

Visual i’s was excited to have been asked to provide such a service.  Although being such a long distance away had its challenges!  The project was a great success and the Cable&Wireless colleagues in Sydney are now enjoying their new office with its superb views of the famous Sydney Harbour as much as their colleagues in Hong Kong enjoy theirs.
