Visual i's Barbarians Target John Crawley Golf Classic
Visual i's newly christened golf team, Visual i's Barbarians, will have its first outing at the John Crawley Ferndown Golf Classic on April 29th 2008.
The event, taking place at Ferndown Golf Club near Bournemouth, is one of the early events in the Benefit Year for Hampshire and England’s John “Creepy” Crawley. Visual i's are proud to support another of Hampshire’s deserved beneficiaries, after its support of Dimitri Mascarenhas in 2007, a year which also saw him gain a long awaited call up for England.
John boasts over 50 caps and 2000 runs for England which sit atop a First Class career stretching back over 18 years with a batting average of nearly 48. Technically very correct, Creepy is recognised the world over as one of the best on-side players in the game and a tremendous player of spin, whilst possessing an exceptionally fluent cover drive. As recently as 2006 John topped the County Championship First Division Averages with 1737 runs including 6 centuries.
Visual i's team of 4 will include Managing Director Richard Worrall and Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Rowe, plus 2 carefully selected others who will be expected to carry them to victory. There will, of course, be details after the event as to how the team performed, and hopefully some pictures of them at the presentation!!
