A Cultural Difference
July 2008 has seen Visual i's dip its toe in the Asian market by signing a long term advertising contract with RFP Magazine (www.rfpmagazine.com). Furthermore, Managing Director Richard Worrall’s comments have been quoted in the article ‘Fit for Fit-Out’ in RFP Magazine’s July issue.
This is not the first time Visual i's and its Managing Director have been mentioned in this well respected Asian publication. Visual i’s was well represented in an article earlier this year entitled ‘New Way: New Workplace’ which featured the design and relocation of Cable&Wireless’ new Hong Kong office. Visual i’s designs incorporated Cable&Wireless’ new global branding and fresh approach to work.

Visual i's worked closely with a number of local companies during that project, many of whom expressed a desire to work with us again in the future. After a few meetings both in the UK and Hong Kong, the Directors decided to take the plunge and commit to a long term advertising campaign which they hope will generate new clients and projects in the region.
Richard Worrall is under no illusions as to the challenges of establishing a company such as Visual i's in the Asian Market. “Although it will be an enormous challenge to establish ourselves in the market, it is a challenge that we are very excited about.” said the Managing Director, who admits to being taken by the region’s cultures.
“One thing that excites us about the Asian market is continuing to develop our understanding of the culture and incorporating this into our designs and work ethic.”
